What are the requirements for being recognized as a professional investor?




Currently own 5 properties (Primary residence included).

鈫 Five (5) years credit depth reported on credit report.

At least three (3) mortgages are reported on the credit report within the last three (3) years. No minimum months reporting is required. No delinquencies are allowed on months reported.

 

If you can be recognized as a professional investor, you can often get the following preferential treatment in the process of applying for DSCR program:

 

Mortgage histories on non-subject properties are not required.

鈫 Housing histories of borrower鈥檚 are not required.

 

 

What information do you need to provide to be certified as a professional investor?

 

All properties owned by borrowers should be provided.

All information relevant with borrower鈥檚 owned properties should be provided (mortgage balance, gross rents, etc)
